These are the design elements that went into the creation of the Quinto Sol Labyrinth:
The last circuits of the Siweard Labyrinth are pulled out to form a labyrinth with 4 bump-outs in each corner.
The Original Quinto Sol Heiroglyph from an ancient Aztec Calendar Stone.
First design sketch of the Quinto Sol Labyrinth.
A painted Maquette is made of the design. The labyrs were removed at the turns in the pathways, to take out almost all of the negative spaces, and to make the design more curviliniear.
The design is further refined and turned into a painted working sketch of what would become "The Quinto Sol Labyrinth".
